Yes, we have convenient access to public transportation nearby.

Eastgate Shopping Center, located at the corner of Mayfield Road and SOM Center Road, is within walking distance: Target, Marc’s, Micro Center, Michaels, Aldi, Old Navy, Ulta, patio dining, banks, and more! Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital is located across the street from our community.

Gates Mills Place in Mayfield Heights has close and convenient access to I-271, I-480, and I-90.

Floor Plans & Features

Gates Mills Place in Mayfield Heights offers inviting studios, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom suites, and penthouses with the comfort and convenience of suburban living.

Our suites range in size from 370-2,500 sq. ft.

We do not offer furnished apartments at Gates Mills Place, but our sister property, The Residences at Hanna located in Downtown Cleveland, does provide this service with a minimum 30-day stay. Click here to view their website.

Short-term leases are available upon completion of initial 12-month lease term (conditions and upcharges apply). The Residences at Hanna, another K&D community, does offer short-term fully furnished Corporate Housing (minimum 30-day stay). Click here to view their website.

All suites have updated and modern raised panel doors, bathrooms have new 12” ceramic tile flooring, offer plenty of closet space, have neutral paint and carpeting throughout, vertical blinds, air conditioning, and space for a dining area. Our kitchens are equipped with a refrigerator, stove (electric in the South and West buildings / gas in the North building), and dishwasher. Some suites have a balcony or patio.

Yes, Gates Mills Place offers laundry facilities in each building.

Yes, Gates Mills Place in Mayfield Heights has convenient, on-site parking lots available at no charge, and indoor parking for a fee.

There is no charge for parking in our open parking lots, but there is a fee for covered parking.

Yes, visitors are permitted to park in our community’s parking lots.

Located in the award-winning Mayfield City Schools District, Gates Mills Place in Mayfield Heights offers multiple newly updated fitness centers, a sparkling indoor pool open year-round, outdoor swimming pool with sundeck open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, picnic area, party rooms for private use, on-site coinless laundry centers, lobbies with customer service centers and free wi-fi in each building. For our residents’ peace of mind, each building has controlled access entry, security during designated office hours, on-site management and maintenance staff, as well as 24/7 emergency maintenance service. There is ample parking in our surface lots as well as indoor parking available for a monthly fee.

Customer Service accepts USPS (United States Postal Service) packages only with the exception of larger boxes – those, along with all other packages are delivered to your door.

Free wi-fi is available in each building’s lobby common areas.

Maintenance service requests should be submitted online through your Resident Portal account – log in here. If you need assistance, please call the Customer Service Representative in your building’s lobby, or visit the Leasing Office and we will be happy to assist.

Yes, Gates Mills Place in Mayfield Heights has 24-hour emergency maintenance available – log into your Resident Portal online, or refer to the magnet on your refrigerator that lists the important phone numbers for the property.

Yes, you can pay your rent for Gates Mills Place in Mayfield Heights online through the Resident Portal.

Yes - our knowledgeable, dedicated, onsite property management and maintenance teams are always available to assist.

Heat, water, sewer, and trash are included in a monthly URC charge as follows: Studios $30 / 1BR $35 / 2BR $40 / 3BR $45. Each suite is responsible for their own electric bill in all buildings, and their own gas bill in the North Building.

Utilities are billed on the resident ledger.

Leasing Requirements & Policies

Online here or in person during office hours at 6807 Mayfield Road, Mayfield Heights, OH 44124.

Must be 21 years old or older, must gross three (3) times the monthly rent (Seniors 62 and older qualify at two (2) times the monthly rent), and must meet criminal, credit, and rental history requirements. Applicants must also provide their three most recent paystubs, a photo ID, and debit card, credit card, or money order.

There is a $50.00 non-refundable application fee per applicant 18 years of age or older.

Gates Mills Place in Mayfield Heights offers 12-month leases with short-term lease options after completion of initial 12-month lease term (conditions and upcharges apply).

Gates Mills Place in Mayfield Heights allows a maximum of two cats per suite, and all cats must be spayed or neutered. All cats must be registered with the Leasing Office.

Yes, $20 per cat per month and a nonrefundable $300 deposit per cat.

To move in, a resident must pay the $50.00 application fee(s) (per applicant over 18 yours of age or older, non-refundable), a $199.00 hold fee (applied towards security deposit balance at move-in), a Security Deposit, and payment for the days remaining in the month they move in.

Yes, renter’s insurance is required. You may choose to use any coverage provider you prefer, but residents at all K&D properties are pre-qualified for renter’s insurance through Resident Shield. This coverage helps protect your personal belongings in the event of fire, water damage, or theft, as K&D does not insure personal property.
